#100 - Sydney Park

Sydney Park, as the name suggests, is a park in Sydney.  Sydney Park is also an American actress and comedian, but I don't think she would appreciate being included on a list of things to 'do' in Sydney.

I'm not sure what the large area of concrete adds to this photo.  This is just shoddy composition.  You deserve better.

It's in the St Peter's area, which is in the South West part of Sydney.  As well as being number 100 in the list, it was actually the last one we completed as well (we didn't make any attempt in general to do things in order).  It's a nice park, and worth a wander around if you're in the area.  It has grass, benches, paths, ponds and things like that.  If you've been in a park before, you're probably familiar with the concept.

Those stepping stones are really convenient - how fortunate they happened to be there

I wouldn't say that there is anything particularly special about this one, but it was very pleasant when we were there.  It was nice and quiet, and does have some nice views of the city.  It also has a cricket pitch.  No idea if anyone can just rock up and start a game, or whether it is for a club specifically.

All in all, a nice place to spend a sunny afternoon.  Take a picnic, if you like that sort of thing.

Are you a fan of parks?  Can you shed some light on the usability of the cricket pitch?  Were you hoping for a review of the actress and comedian Sydney Park?  Let us know in the comments...
